 A double from George Awada secured the points for Belfast |
The Giants bounced back from their 6-1 hammering by Sheffield Steelers with this comfortable Elite League win at the Odyssey on Saturday night. The Vipers took the lead through Jeff Hutchins early in the second period but Shaun Sutter levelled for Belfast in the 39th minute. Shaun Sutter put the Giants 2-1 ahead four minutes into the third period. George Awada sealed the victory for Ed Courtenay's team with two goals in the last 10 minutes.
