Nottingham Panthers bounced back from the defeat against Sheffield with a thumping 5-1 win over Cardiff Devils. Panthers won the game in the opening period as they skated to a 3-0 lead thanks to a powerplay strike by Johan Molin and two Corey Neilson goals.
Devils upped their game in the second but netminder Tom Askey was in fine form and Panthers held firm.
Goals from Kevin Bergin and Patrik Wallenberg sealed the win in the third with Max Birbraer netting for Cardiff.
