Nottingham Panthers turned on the style to win back-to-back weekend matches for the first time this season. Patrik Wallenberg scored twice in Manchester on Sunday as Panthers edged a seven-goal thriller.
Kevin Bergin and Ryan Shmyr were also on target but Panthers were pegged back on three occasions before Wallenberg's winner in the final period.
And Panthers smashed Elite League leaders Coventry Blaze 6-2 at the Ice Centre on Saturday.
Panthers had a wonderful opening period and raced into a 4-0 lead.

Johan Molin's 22nd goal of the season set the home side on their way with only 26 seconds on the clock and Kevin Bergin doubled the lead.
A Sean McAslan double then put Panthers firmly in control.
Coventry staged a spirited comeback in the second to bring the score back to 4-2 with strikes from Adam Calder and Curtis Huppebut.
But Bergin's second goal of the evening settled any home nerves and McAslan netted his 30th goal of a superb season to complete his hat-trick on the powerplay and make the game safe.
Panthers coach Mike Ellis told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We are a good solid team and we know we can win games if we work hard and that's what we did.
"We had some top end checking done by our forwards which turned over the pucks that we needed and we got our chances and scored.
"We're happy and we know we have a lot of home games coming up and everything to play for at our rink so we'll just keep ploughing away."
