Matt Reid signed off at the Belfast Giants with a goal to salvage a 3-3 draw against Coventry Blaze at the Odyssey Arena on Friday night. Reid is leaving because Theo Fleury's arrival will mean the Belfast side have a full quota of work permit players.
Two goals from George Awada had the Giants 2-1 up against Blaze who scored through Graham Belak.
Ashley Tait and Evan Cheverie edged Coventry 3-2 up with Reid equalising five minutes from the end.
