The Belfast Giants add new signing Matt Reid to their squad for this weekend's away matches against London Racers on Saturday and Cardiff Devils on Sunday. Reid's arrival was delayed as he attempted to obtain a work permit after having his passport stolen.
He is a former team-mate of Giants coach Ed Courtenay and has played for Basingstoke in the Elite League.
Belfast will be without defenceman Shane Johnson who has a knee injury, as they attempt to add to their two wins.
Newcastle Vipers were beaten both home and away last weekend as the Giants got their season off to the best possible start.
