 Kozak claims canoe K1 500m gold Hungary's Danuta Kozak beat Ukraine's Inna Osypenko-Radomska to win gold in the women's K1 500m as Britain's Rachel Cawthorn finished sixth. Defending champion Osypenko-Radomskaled for most of the race but the worldand European silver medallist Kozak woneasily in one minute 51.456 seconds.South African Bridgitte Hartley wasthird while Cawthorn was off the pace."I was too far down, so it was too muchto come back.
