Royal Ascot: Day four
Follow all the action from Royal Ascot with BBC Sport Online
All the action from day four of the prestigious Royal Ascot meeting.

1730 BST Buckingham Palace Stakes (7f)

1. Demonstrate 12-1
2. Lunar Leo 16-1
3. Kareeb 16-1
4. Point of Dispute 25-1
(27 ran)

Richard Hughes lands his second winner of the day on Demonstrate.

The field split into three packs across the track with those on the stands side faring best.

The winner was trained by John Gosden, who kept up his record of training a Royal Ascot winner every year since 1990.

1655 BST Windsor Castle Stakes (5f)

1. Revenue 14-1
2. One Last Time 4-1
3. Sir Albert 5-1
(14 ran)

Distance: 1, S hd

Revenue, aptly owned by the Royal Ascot Racing Club, wins the two-year-old sprint.

The win marks a double for Johnny Murtagh and is a first Royal Ascot success for trainer Michael Bell.

It is a maiden win for Revenue, who had been second in each of his previous three starts.

1620 BST Queen's Vase (2m)

1. Mamool 9-1
2. Mr Dinos 4-1
3. Ancestor 7-1
(14 ran)

Distance: , 1

Mamool, ridden by Frankie Dettori, hangs on to win the longest race of the day.

Dettori, claiming his second win of the meeting, was never far off the pace and set out his stall early in the home straight.

Mr Dinos briefly threatened but faded in the closing stages while Ancestor came through from a long way back to take third.

1545 BST Coronation Stakes (1m)

1. Sophisticat 11-2
2. Zenda 7-1
3. Dolores 5-1
(11 ran)

Distance: Nk, 2

Sophisticat storms through the field for a stunning victory in the feature of the day.

From second last at the two-furlong pole, Mick Kinane has to weave his way through the pack but times his run to perfection as Sophisticat shows an impressive turn of foot to pip Zenda.

Favourite Gossamer appeared not to cope with the firm ground.

It is Mick Kinane's third success of the Royal meeting - and the second Group One success of the week for Aidan O'Brien and the Coolmore team.

1505 King Edward VII Stakes (1m 4f)

1. Balakheri 11-4f
2. Bollin Eric 3-1
3. First Charter 25-1
(7 ran)

Distance: 3, hd

Johnny Murtagh clocks up his third win of the meeting on favourite Balakheri, who is trained by Sir Michael Stoute.

Despite putting up two pounds overweight, Murtagh comes through easily after a strong early pace set by Sparkling Water.

There is a stewards' inquiry but it does not involve the winner and no action is taken anyway.

The well-fancied Diaghilev loses his chance at the very beginning of the race when he dallies in the stalls.

1430 BST Wolferton Rated Stakes (1m 2f)

1. Ulundi 10-1
2. Arabie 7-1
3. Rasm 12-1
4. Pole Star 17-2
(17 ran)

Distance: S hd, 2

Richard Hughes edges ahead in the race for top jockey with his third win of the meeting on Ulundi.

The joint top weight just holds off Arabie, ridden by Richard Quinn.

And the 1-2-3 of Richards is completed by Richard Hills, who finishes third on Rasm.

Frankie Dettori's mount, Divine Task, who had been backed down from 10-1 to 9-2 favourite on the day was well back in the field.
