Ouija Board has been named horse of the year for a record second time at the 16th Cartier Awards. The five-year old, who won the prize in 2004, was honoured after landing the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood plus a second Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf.
Ed Dunlop's mare was also voted top older horse, seeing off competition from the likes of Pride, Hurricane Run, Shirocco and Reverence.
Reverence won the top sprinter honour for Preston trainer Eric Alston.
The awards, the Oscars of horse racing, were handed out at a ceremony in London on Wednesday night.
Teofilo lost out to Ouija Board in the Horse Of The Year category but he was voted top two-year-old colt, while stablemate Finsceal Beo gave trainer Jim Bolger a memorable double by claiming the top two-year-old filly division.

The Ballydoyle team of trainer Aidan O'Brien and owners Sue and John Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith took two awards courtesy of George Washington and Yeats.
George Washington, the outstanding miler of his generation, just took the Cartier Three-Year-Old Colt Award from Arc victor Rail Link.
Gold Cup winner Yeats secured the stayers' prize. French runner Mandesha beat Alexandrova in the three-year-old filly category.
Peter Willett, a leading expert on racehorses, was handed the award of merit in recognition of his achievements as a journalist, author and breeder.
