Bacchas remain top after impressive win over Saracens

Hockey

Bacchas A maintained their 100% record in the Men's Premier Division with a crushing 13-0 victory over Saracens A.

Karl Moore scored six times for the Tromode side with Jonny Callow and Richard le Page scoring hat-tricks.

Valkyrs remain title contenders, beating Bacchas B 4-1 while Vikings A emerged victorious from their game with Castletown A, winning convincingly 5-1.

Meanwhile Harlequins A secured their first points of the season with a five-goal thriller against Vikings B.

Goals from Pete Nuttall, Peter Foxton and Adam Hussey helped Harlequins to a 3-2 victory.

In the Women's Premier Division Vikings A ensured their unbeaten start to the season remained intact with a 5-0 victory over Castletown A with captain Kim Carney adding two more goals to her mounting goal tally.

There were high scores elsewhere as Bacchas B claimed their first points of the season to win 5-1 victory over Castletown B. Kelly Bailey led the way for the Tromode side netting two goals.

Valkyrs A also maintained their impressive start to the season with a 3-0 victory over Ramsey A whilst Bacchas A upheld their unbeaten record with a 5-0 win over Valkyrs B.

A re-arranged fixture on Sunday saw a close match between Vikings A and Valkyrs A with a single goal from Katie Errock giving the Douglas side the victory.
