Lincolnshire's Glenn Kirkham has been included in England's squad for the Hockey World Cup in India in February. The 27-year-old from Alford, who plays club hockey for East Grinstead, has 107 international caps with England. He has also played 36 times for Great Britain and was a member of the team which came fifth at the 2008 Olypmic Games in Beijing. Kirkham is also in the England squad for two warm-up matches against Spain in Cadiz on 24 and 26 January. The World Cup begins in Delhi on 28 February. Midfielder Kirkham helped England to win the EuroHockey Indoor Nations Trophy victory in Poznan, Poland earlier this month. The victory saw them promoted to the top flight of European indoor hockey and earned them a place in the 2011 Indoor World Cup which will also be held in Poland.
