Beeston Hockey Club are are through to the last 16 of the European Hockey League after finishing top of Pool F with a 100% record at the weekend. The Bees first beat Belgian side Levuen 3-0 thanks to two goals from Martin Jones and one for Andrew Monte. They followed it up with a 1-0 win over French hosts St Germain with Wayne Rowland the man on target. The last-16 stage takes place in April 2010 and if successful, the Bees will go through to the final four in May.
