Herbert has now won more than 50 caps for England

Jersey's Beckie Herbert crowned her 50th cap for England with a goal, but was powerless to stop a 3-1 defeat to Argentina in the Champions Trophy.

Wednesday's defeat to the side ranked second-best in the world, was followed by a 4-0 loss to Australia on Thursday.

England are now bottom of the table with just one point from four matches.

They now face China twice over the weekend. Their last group match is on Saturday, followed by the 5th/6th place play-off on Sunday.

The Chinese have now been relegated from the tournament, but it does not matter where England finish as they will host next year's tournament in Nottingham.
