Ryan Bradley helped England win Commonwealth Games bronze
Ryan Bradley has pulled out of Great Britain's team for the World Artistic Championships in Denmark after suffering an injury in training.

The 22-year-old hurt both ankles in an awkward landing and was forced to withdraw from the event, which starts on Friday night in Aarhus.

He will be replaced by 21-year-old City of Leeds gymnast Oliver Kneen.

Beth Tweddle, who won bronze in the uneven bars and was fourth overall in 2005, leads the British challenge.

The Liverpool athlete missed the Commonwealth Games in March because of an ankle injury but bounced back superbly to win Britain's first senior title at the European Championships.

She hopes to secure another first by winning Britain's first medal in the overall competition in Denmark.

Ross Brewer, who led England to team bronze at the Commonwealth Games, is the best hope in the men's team.
