Rhian Pugh
Rhian Pugh will make her senior Great Britain debut in Melbourne
Newport's Rhian Pugh has been selected in the Great Britain team for the 2005 World Gymnastics Championships.

Pugh, 16, is one of only four British girls competing in Melbourne from 21-27 November, where she will hope to return for the Commonwealth Games in March.

She has medals at junior European and Commonwealth level and will make her senior debut on the asymmetric bars.

Wales coach Tracy Skirton said: "It is a massive achievement for Rhian to have made it into the British squad."
