Jersey Wheelers have taken a narrow lead at the top of the Jersey Disabled Basketball Challenge after beating Airport Jets by 28-10. The Wheelers were on unstoppable form, Eddie Boschat leading the scoring with an impressive five baskets. Ben Gallichan [4], James Brady [3], Natalie Walker and Aaron Boschat were the other scorers for the Wheelers. Lou Banks netted two baskets for the Jets, with Shane Gavey, Josh Davey and Luke De La Haye also scoring. The result sees Jersey Wheelers edge ahead of JBBA All Stars at the top of the league. Both sides have picked up seven points from their opening three games, with Wheelers top on points difference. Airport Jets stay rooted to the bottom of the table, having yet to win in the league. The next game in the Challenge is between CCV Warriors and JBBA All Stars on Monday, 4 October.
