Shuker was making her SW19 debut

Britain's Lucy Shuker is through to the final of the Wimbledon wheelchair women's doubles final.

The Somerset 29-year-old teamed up with Daniela Di Toro of Australia to beat France's Florence Gravellier and Jiske Griffioen of the Netherlands 6-4 6-4.

Their opponents in Sunday's final will be the in-form partnership of Esther Vergeer and Korie Homan.

The Dutch duo saw off compatriot Sharon Walraven and Germany's Katharina Kruger 6-0 6-0 in just 40 minutes on Court 14.

Kruger and Walraven served up seven double faults and made 11 unforced errors to ease their opponents' cause in the inaugural Wimbledon wheelchair women's doubles competition.

Vergeer and Homan are targeting their third major of 2009 after victories at the Australian and French Opens.

Vergeer, 28, has one of the longest winning streaks in world sport, unbeaten in 360 singles matches since the end of January 2003.

The men's semi-finals on Saturday see Paralympic champions Stephane Houdet and Michael Jeremiasz from France against Sweden's Stefan Olsson and Peter Wilkstrom in a repeat of the Beijing final.

Jeremiasz will be trying to win his second Wimbledon title after his victory in the inaugural event in 2005 with Britain's Jayant Mistry.

In the other semi-final, Dutch duo Maikel Scheffers and Ronald Vink will play their compatriot Robin Ammerlaan and Japan's Shingo Kunieda, the current singles world number one.
