Great Britain men's wheelchair basketball team pulled off a tremendous 61-52 win over host nation Germany in the European Championships semi-finals. Britain got off to a sluggish start and some poor shot selection meant they ended the first quarter 16-10 down.
However, Terry Bywater and Simon Munn led a stunning transformation in the second quarter, pressing the Germans into a series of fouls.
That revival enabled Britain to lead 27-24 at half-time.
In the third quarter, Jon Pollock and Bywater ran the game and Britain took a 47-41 lead into the final session.
Roared on by 4,000 spectators, Germany came back strongly in the final quarter and narrowed the gap to just four points.
However, Britain's experience saw them home and they ran out 61-52 winners and will meet Spain in Saturday's final.
Bywater, just 24, netted 26 points while Pollock scored 15.
GB coach Murray Treseder said he was "really happy" with the display.
"They played relaxed basketball against a very well-organised team," he said.
Great Britain's women's wheelchair basketball team will attempt to book their place at the Paralympics on Saturday. They play Spain in the bronze-medal match with the winners qualifying for next year's Games in Beijing.
