Great Britain's men lost 69-58 to Australia in the final wheelchair basketball group match at the Visa Paralympic World Cup in Manchester. Team GB were always chasing the game, with going Australia 38-28 ahead after the first two quarters.
Australia's Shaun Groenewegen was the star of the show, scoring 22 points, with Terry Bywater top scoring for Britain with 21 points.
GB will now play Germany in the semis, while Australia face the Netherlands.
Earlier, the men's team made a strong start against the Netherlands before Mustfa Jebari guided the Dutch to a 16-15 lead early in the second quarter.
But a succession of three-pointers from Bywater, who top-scored on 22, soon put the home side back in control.
GB pulled away in the third after solid play from Ade Adepitan and Dan Highcock to seal a comfortable 62-44 win.
Meanwhile, Britain's women saw their winning streak come to an end.
Fresh from victories over Sweden and Spain, GB struggled to match the scoring power of the unbeaten French, losing 38-26.
France stormed to 7-0 lead before the Brits battled back to 17-17 early in the third quarter but celebrations were shortlived at the Amaechi Centre.
Valerie Monnier weighed in with 16 points as the visitors pulled away to a comfortable triumph.
The GB women will play Spain in their semi-final.
