Otxoa out of Manchester racing
Paralympic gold medallist Darren Kenny
Kenny won two golds and a silver in Athens
Double Paralympic cycling gold medallist Darren Kenny has been denied the chance of a rematch with one of his chief rivals on Friday night.

Kenny was due to take on Javier Otxoa in the Paralympic World Cup cycling event at the Manchester Velodrome.

But Otxoa, a former stage winner at the Tour de France, has pulled out and been replaced by compatriot Maurice Eckhard.

Eckhard and Kenny will now do battle in the CP3 3,000m pursuit, 1km time trial and 200m time trial.
