Britain's men's and women's wheelchair basketballers got off to a perfect start at the Visa Paralympic World Cup, winning their opening games. Terry Bywater scored 14 points as the men, bronze medallists in Athens, held off a resurgent Germany to win 45-39.
Earlier, the women's team stormed to a 66-15 win against Sweden with Sarah Burrett topscoring on 11 points.
They then made it two wins out of two with a 43-29 victory against Spain in their evening game.
Britain's men were forced to dig deep as they held off a strong German second-half fightback.
Bywater helped the Paralympic bronze medallists ease to a 10-0 lead just minutes in and they led 22-16 at the break.
But the Germans battled back in the third quarter through topscorer Mimoun Quali to narrow the gap to just 28-25.

More pressure followed in the final quarter but vital scores from Dan Highcock and Pete Finbow secured victory.
GB men's coach Dave Titmuss hailed his side's defence and some late tactical changes for the victory.
"As long as we keep playing defence like that, even if we're not scoring, we'll keep winning," he told BBC Sport.
"I thought with us having the edge early on, the group I had on the floor might do a better job.
"But they didn't and were struggling so I switched it up towards the end and we went away with it."
After an easy win over Sweden in their opener, Spain posed a tougher challenge for Garry Peel's side but the visitors could not match their opponents' mobility and eye for the basket.
Italy-based Clare Strange was pivotal while Anna Jackson netted 14 points in the win.
