The 2010 Lakeside World Darts champion is aiming to emulate Bob Anderson, who won the Masters from 1986 to 1988.

England skipper Adams, 54, will be in action at the City Hall in Hull over the weekend of 30 and 31 October.

Also seeded (in order) are: Stuart Kellett, Steve West, Dean Winstanley, Tony O'Shea, Garry Thompson, Ross Montgomery and Scott Waites.

The BBC has coverage from Hull on both days on both TV and the BBC Sport website.
