Jenkins is looking to finish the Premier League season on a high |
Ledbury's Terry Jenkins will chase a fifth-place finish in the Premier League when he takes on Raymond van Barneveld in Cardiff. Jenkins says he is in a good frame of mind heading into the final match of the season. "I'm confident that I can get that fifth spot," Jenkins told BBC Hereford & Worcester. "I need a draw but I feel I can win against Raymond and I'm playing well," he added. Jenkins is playing only for pride in Cardiff, knowing that a draw or win would see him finish above John Part and earn him increased prize money based on positions. He is already guaranteed a prize pot of £30,000, but could add a further £2,500 to that total with the right result against the Dutchman.
