Ledbury's Terry Jenkins bowed out in the semi-finals of the Players Championship at Coventry's Ricoh Arena. The Herefordshire star knocked out Chris Allen, Gary Mawson, Michael Smith and Steve Hine on his way to the quarter-finals. He then saw off Dennis Priestley 6-3 before going down 6-2 to the eventual winner Mark Walsh in the semis. Walsh went on to beat Phil Taylor 6-4 in a tight final to walk off with the £6,000 top prize.
