Richard Rose will keep battling until it is 'mathematically impossible'
Hereford defender Richard Rose insists that the Bulls will not give up in their League One survival battle.
The Bulls' home defeat by Huddersfield on Saturday was their sixth in seven games, leaving them nine points adrift of safety with just eight games left.
But, ahead of Saturday's trip to Hartlepool, Rose points to last Tuesday week's 2-1 win at Carlisle as an indication of what they are capable of.
"We hope to do the same at Hartlepool. We're not going to give up," said Rose.
"We will keep playing until it's mathematically impossible for us to stay up."
Rose admitted to BBC Hereford and Worcester that, after five blanks in their last six games, the Bulls are simply not taking their chances.
"In the situation we are in we need to be scoring," he said. "We worked really hard against Huddersfield but we got nothing out of it.
"We got the ball out wide, and got some good crosses in, and their keeper made some good save to keep us out."
The Bulls go to Hartlepool on Saturday (4 April, 1500 BST). Full commentary on BBC Hereford and Worcester on 94.7 fm.
