Leicester's Jamie Caven is eyeing a top-40 spot as he gears up for the PDC World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace in December. The 32-year-old told BBC Radio Leicester: "Ideally I'd like to go and win it but realistically I want a good solid run. "My form's been pretty good of late, so there's no reason why I can't do that." Caven has moved up 200 places in the world rankings in the last 12 months and is now in the top 50. The PDC Championships begin on Friday, 19 December. Caven, who is nicknamed 'Jabba', added: "I'm sure a lot are aware that I can do some damage if I take my top game to stage on that day."
