Lakeside Country Club has extended its sponsorship of the BDO's version of the World Darts Championships until 2010. The 2008 tournament, which runs from 5 to 13 January, will be the 23rd at the famous venue in Frimley Green, Surrey.
In October, Lakeside owner Bob Potter increased the total prize fund for the event to �310,000, with the men's champion taking home �85,000.
BBC Sport has already extended its deal provide exclusive coverage of the World Championships through to 2010.
England skipper Martin Adams will defend his title in the new year, while Trina Gulliver will be chasing her eighth women's crown.
