One of the toughest Isle of Man mountain bike challenges gets underway in Ramsey on Sunday 1 August. The Appleby Sportive is a 100 kilometre course around the Island, including over 1,500 metres of ascent. Cyclists will carry an electronic 'dibber' to provide individual timings for each section of the event.
