Denmark's Matti Breschel won the fourth stage of the Tour of Switzerland as Tadej Valjavec took the overall lead. Saxo Bank rider Breschel formed part of a 26-man break, holding off the challenge of Kazakh Maxim Iglinskiy at the finishing line. AG2R's Valjavec finished third in the 195km stage from Biasca to Stafa, clinching a four-second time bonus. The Slovenian snatched the lead from overnight leader Fabian Cancellara, who finished over a minute behind Breschel. Valjavec has a two-second lead over Saxo Bank's Andy Schleck going into Wednesday's 202km fifth stage from Stafa to Serfaus, which features two major climbs. Luxembourger Schleck finished Tuesday's stage in sixth place.
