Cain wins Formula One BMX title

Juan Watney claimed fourth spot in the Formula 1 category.

Isle of Man's Brandon Cain won the Alloms Winter Series Formula One BMX title at Mooragh Park on Sunday.

Cain won half of the season's top class races to claim the overall title, beating George Sharp into second place with Tom Murray taking third.

In Formula Two, Tyler Cain snatched the series win from Liam McCann, with Jack Kissack taking the third position.

Meanwhile Tony Brown was the overall winner in Formula Three, with Matt Black winning in Formula Four.

The Winter Series has been a highly successful and popular competition, seeing 54 riders between the ages of five and 35 taking part.

The Summer Series is set to start on Sunday, 5 April.
