Cycling

Aaron Bailey was the fastest of 19 riders along the five mile time trial course at Perelle in windy conditions.

Bailey finished in 11min 22sec, with Stuart Le Tissier second, closely followed by Matt Osborn and Mike Dean.

They were followed by Under-16 rider Callum Hill-Smith, Leon Ogier and fastest lady Ann Bowditch.

The quickest veteran was Graham Le Maitre, while Rob Smart came 15th on his mountain bike. The next event will be a road race at the Vazon circuit.

The race will be over three laps, starting at La Houguette School. A 25 mile time trial is also planned for Cobo later this month.
