Prosecutor seeks Millar acquittal
David Millar
Millar was banned for two years on doping charges
Prosecutors have asked a French court to acquit British cyclist David Millar in his trial for breaking doping laws.

The prosecution's Jacques Hossaert also asked for suspended sentences for six other riders on Millar's Cofidis team, because they had already "paid a lot".

However Hossaert asked for a one-year sentence for Cofidis physiotherapist Boguslaw Madejak.

Miller was banned for two years after confessing to the use of EPO in 2004 but returned to action this year.
