Top seeds tumble out at world indoor bowls

It was a day of surprise results at the World Indoor Bowls Championships with two qualifiers making the semi-finals.

Scot Stewart Anderson beat John Price (Wales), the 18th seed, 13-0 8-6, while England's Rob Paxton beat 16th seed Jonathan Ross, from Ireland, 8-5 9-8.

Meanwhile, England's Nick Brett, seeded 20, beat sixth seed and former champion David Gourlay of Scotland 12-6 5-6 2-0.

England's Greg Harlow, seeded five, beat Scotland's Paul Foster (4) 6-6 8-3 in the battle of former champions.
