Paul Foster (above) will face Ian Bond in Saturday's final

Paul Foster edged out qualifier Stewart Anderson to book his place in the final of the Scottish International Open.

Foster, the fourth seed, beat his fellow Scot on a tie break 8-6 5-8 2-1, and will face England's Ian Bond in Saturday's final in Perth.

Twelfth seed Bond proved too strong for Mervyn King in the other last-four clash, winning 7-5 4-11 2-1.

It guarantees a Scotland versus England final, with live coverage by BBC Scotland and the BBC Sport website.

Anderson had knocked world champion Billy Jackson out of the tournament at the quarter-final stage.
