England's Ian Bond created the first upset of the second round of the Scottish International Open in Perth by defeating Jason Greenslade. Bond, seeded 12, knocked out the sixth-seeded Welshman 7-5 5-8 2-1 after a thrilling game at Dewars Centre. Paul Foster (4) defeated Australia's Kelvin Kerkow (11) 6-6 7-5, but fellow Scot Darren Burnett (16) was beaten by England's Mervyn King (8) 9-6 2-12 2-0. Andy Thomson (7) beat fellow Englishman Simon Skelton (14) 7-6 8-3. Further second round games take place on Wednesday, with the action live on BBC Scotland the BBC sport website. Top seed Greg Harlow takes on world champion and tenth seed Billy Jackson in a battle of the Englishmen. Two qualifiers who caused first-round upsets come face to face in Perth. Welshman John Price, who defeated third seed Mark Royal, takes on England's Tim Stone, who knocked out thirteenth seed Les Gillett. Stewart Anderson, the Scottish qualifier who ousted former world champion David Gourlay, faces Northern Ireland's Jonathan Ross, the fifteenth seed. Scotland's Alex Marshall, seeded two, takes on Welshman Robert Weale.
