Devon came from 16 shots and two points down to beat Cornwall in their first match in the short mat bowls Inter-County Championship.

The Cornish led at the half way interval by nine points and 95 shots to Devon's seven points and 79 shots.

But Devon re-grouped and won three of the four matches in the third session, before going on to win all four matches in the final session.

Devon won 27 points 200 shots to Cornwall's 13 points 159 shots.

Cornwall will be away to Dorset on Sunday, 19 October whilst Devon take on Somerset.
