Norfolk have lost in the final of the Middleton Cup, with Devon taking the title by nine shots in Worthing.

Norfolk's player-manager Brian Taylor had to concede the match with one end to play leaving the final score 116-107.

The crucial rinks saw Mervyn King's group lose 26-11, Phillip Barr's rink lost 25-12, and former under-25 world champion Jamie Chestney lost 18-20.

The rinks of Taylor, Darren Rousell and Trevor Webb all won their encounters.
