Holder and top seed Ellen Falkner will face Scotland's Caroline Brown in Wednesday's final of the Women's World Matchplay Championship in Norfolk. Falkner beat fellow Englishwoman Debbie Stavrou 7-10 9-8 2-1 in a semi-final that went down to the final end.
Brown secured a 7-6 9-8 win over Carol Ashby and will face Falkner in a final to be broadcast live on BBC Two.
Andy Thomson and Jason Greenslade reached the last eight of the men's World Indoor Singles Championship.
Fifth seed Thomson, a former world number one and champion in 1994 and 1995, ended the run of fellow Englishman Danny Brown, beating the 42-year-old qualifier 6-5 8-5.
Third seed Jason Greenslade from Wales defeated England-based Mark McMahon 8-3 11-6 to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 1998.
