Flournoy has led Eagles to 12 pieces of silverware since his arrival in 2001 |
Newcastle Eagles player-coach Fab Flournoy has been released from hospital after he was admitted with pneumonia last week. The 37-year-old's condition improved enough to be discharged on Wednesday night and he will continue his rehabilitation at home. Assistant coach Dave Forrester will continue to oversee first-team duties, with no date set for Flournoy's return. Eagles have a double-header with Cheshire Jets on 11-12 February. Flournoy is one of the BBL's most prolific coaches, winning 12 trophies with the Eagles since his appointment in 2001.
