Saturday's Blue Square Bet Premier fixture between Gateshead and Rushden & Diamonds has been moved to Nene Park.
The game was initially set to be held at the Gateshead International Stadium.
But with the Gateshead pitch likely to be waterlogged, both clubs and the Football Conference have agreed to move the game to Rushden.
The return fixture on Saturday, 16 April, which was originally a home game for Rushden, will now be switched to the Gateshead International Stadium.
"I don't think [the venue] will change the way that we play," said Diamonds assistant manager Paul Driver.
"It's better not be travelling up overnight. The England C players don't have to rush to get up there, so it helps."
Rushden & Diamonds goalkeeper Joe Day, as well as Jamie Day and Max Porter, only returned from England C duty on Thursday.
