Guard Ryan Zamroz says Leicester Riders are in good form and feels they are well placed to challenge the top sides after the winter break.

Riders lie seventh in the BBL table but are one of five teams on 12 points.

And Zamroz says spirits will be high when the resume their campaign at home against Chester on Saturday, 8 January.

"We are confident with where we are as a team right now and excited about getting some rest and coming back strong in the new year," Zamroz said.

"The break will be good to get some rest and heal up some small injuries.

"We are looking forward to the second half of the season and we are as confident as ever."
