Raftopoulos has guided the Heat to the BBL Trophy final this season |
Guildford Heat coach Creon Raftopoulos has praised the role Tayo Ogedengbe played in Saturday's victory over BBL leaders Cheshire Jets. The guard scored nine points in the final period and 14 in all in the 86-69 win at Surrey Sports Park. Raftopoulos told BBC Surrey: "Tayo has come up big for us in a number of games this season. "They weren't paying attention to him because he had a quiet game, then he turned it on." He added: "That's the nice thing about having different weapons on the team. "To get it by the margin we did, was credit to the guys. We worked on defence tirelessly during the week. I'm very happy with the win." The Heat, who now lie third in the table, travel to Worcester Wolves next Saturday.
