Guildford Heat coach Creon Raftopoulos says he will concentrate on their league campaign until he knows their BBL Trophy final opponents.

The Heat await the winners of the tie between Mersey Tigers and Newcastle Eagles, which will be decided in two weeks time.

Raftopoulos told BBC Surrey: "We need to focus on the Championship now. We'll take one game at a time.

"As soon as we know who we are playing we'll keep tabs on what they're doing."

The Heat welcome MK Lions to the Surrey Sports Park in the BBL Championship on Saturday, and Raftopoulos is pleased with how his side are sharing the attacking spoils this season.

"We've had different leading scorers in most of our games which goes to show we are playing as a team," he said.

"We're sharing the basketball and team's can't focus on one individual.

"The MK Lions are an unknown entity but we prepare to play our style of basketball."
