Leicester Riders secured back-to-back wins at the weekend to go eighth in the BBL Championship. After two losses to start their league season, the Riders defeated MK Lions and Essex Pirates in successive nights. On Saturday night, Leicester were run close by MK Lions in a two-point game, eventually winning 82-80. A day later, the Riders won 101-82 against the Pirates, with JR Blount and Ryan Zamroz combining for an impressive 46 points. Leicester have back-to-back league matches again next weekend, as Worcester Wolves visit on Saturday (1930 GMT), before a trip to Worthing Thunder on Sunday (1700 GMT).
