Curtis Davies sees positives in Leicester City defeat

Leicester City defender Curtis Davies believes there were positive aspects to the defeat to Bristol City.

The Foxes were beaten 2-0 on Saturday and now have an eight-day break until Monday's clash with Nottingham Forest.

Davies told BBC Radio Leicester: "I don't think it will be to hard to pick ourselves up, as the football we played and the way we played was good.

"As long as we keep that going, cut out stupid mistakes and be more ruthless in front of goal I think we will be fine."

Leicester are five points clear of the Championship relegation zone but only five points adrift of the play-offs following their eighth defeat of the season.

"It's very disappointing, as the way we played football in the first half was very good," Davies added.

"In the second half I feel we still played good football for 15-20 minutes, but their first goal was very poor on our behalf.

"At the end their last goal was another sloppy goal, but the game was over then anyway."
