Worcester Wolves kept their hopes of a BBL play-off place alive as they beat Everton Tigers by 107-94 on Sunday. Rod Middleton scored 27 points for the Wolves, while Kastytis Normantas had 19 and Danny Gilbert contributed 18. The home side led 19-4 six minutes into the game as Middleton and Gilbert each hit two three-pointers. Tigers hit back with the next eight points recovered to trail 23-17. Wolves were comfortable in the second half as the lead reached 74-41 in the third period following a 16-2 surge. Tigers massed 43 points in the fourth quarter with Trey Moore adding 14 but the closest they got to the home side was at 105-94.
