Worcester Wolves let an 18-point lead slip as they failed to reach the BBL Cup semi-finals after losing 96-87 at Leicester Riders. With the Wolves leading 64-46 in the third quarter, Riders called a time out and changed their defensive strategy. Leicester then pegged back Worcester, with the Wolves' lead at the end of the quarter cut to just two points. Worcester fought back to lead 85-83 with just over two minutes remaining before the Riders secured their win. High-flying Milton Keynes Lions are due next at the University of Worcester in the BBL on Saturday, 14 November (tip-off 1900 GMT).
