Paternostro expects the Sharks to provide tough opposition

Leicester Riders are hoping to qualify for the BBL play-offs with a win at Sheffield Sharks on Friday evening.

The Riders have only managed to reach the play-off places four times in the last 14 seasons.

Coach Rob Paternostro told BBC Radio Leicester a victory over the Sharks would not be easy.

"They're fighting for their lives right now, they're a dangerous team. From watching them on tape they play teams hard and tough," he said.

"It's going to be a difficult game on the road in Sheffield. When we played them in November they were one of the more difficult match-ups we've had this year."

Meanwhile Paternostro expects top-scorer Bradd Weirzbicki to return from an ankle injury sooner rather than later.

"Talking to our medical people and seeing Bradd I think he's going to be able to help us out soon," he said.
