 Anthony Paez hit 31 points but Wolves were beaten |
Worcester Wolves ran Plymouth close before suffering a 98-91 defeat at the Pavilions on Saturday. Worcester began the match well, scoring the first seven points, but their lead was short-lived as Raiders swiftly moved ahead 20-15. The lead changed hands several times, with Raiders eventually in front 74-72, going into the final stanza. Wolves got back to 90-87 but threes from Beckles and Martin in the last 90 seconds sealed the points for Plymouth. Anthony Paez again led the Wolves points scorers with 31, with Justin Brown and Skouson Harker contributing 15 each. Wolves lie 11th in the table, level on points with Cheshire Jets.
