Paez scored 20 points for Wolves but his side were well beaten

Sheffield Sharks extracted some revenge for the weekend defeat by Worcester Wolves with a comfortable 100-81 BBL Championship victory at the EIS.

An Anthony Paez three-pointer opened the scoring for the Wolves, but the home side responded with a 17-6 run.

The Sharks continue to stretch out the lead to 56-31 at half-time before a 17-5 Wolves burst pulled the score back to 69-52.

However the Sharks were able to hold on for the all-important victory.

Chris Sanders led all scorers in the game with 27 points for the Sharks, while a combination of Skouson Harker and Paez led the Wolves scoring with 20 points each.
