Wolves look for Sheffield double

Player-coach Skouson Harker is in the BBL team of the week

Worcester Wolves will be looking for a quick double as they go to Sheffield Sharks when the sides meet at the EIS on Wednesday.

They met in Worcester on Saturday with the home team winning 109-100.

Warriors player-coach Skouson Harker had praise for top scorer Anthony Paez after that game.

"Anthony had a break-out game by his standards, and he has had 30 points plus a couple time this year, but versus Sharks he was impeccable."

"He showed why he is, in my opinion, an MVP caliber player in the BBL.

"We expect this type of performance from him more times than not, and even with a bull's-eye on his chest, I think he can deliver."

It will be the third meeting between the teams this season as Sharks knocked Wolves out of the BBL Cup 89-80 on their own floor when the side met in October.

Meanwhile Harker and Paez have both been included in the BBL team of the week.

Paez recently returned to the Wolves, and picked up where he left off last season, also scoring 27 points in Friday night's loss at Milton Keynes Lions.
